Götz Bernhardi, Aquin CEO

Götz Bernhardi
Co-Founder, CEO

Götz Bernhardi joined Aquin in 1994, when it was still Aquila Consult. He was an authorized signatory and product development manager at that time. In 1999 he established Aquin Components GmbH as managing director and shareholder. Under his leadership, the company continuously expanded its product portfolio and has become the leading provider for investment compliance software in Europe.

Götz Bernhardi has long-term expertise in the finance and software industry and in financial business applications. Prior to Aquin, he worked as a consultant with H&H Software, a pioneer in virtual, network-based CD ROM and DVD management software and as an independent software engineer. Bernhardi holds a degree in Economic Sciences from the University of Göttingen, Germany.

Roman Harbich
Managing Director and COO

Roman Harbich joined Aquin Components in April 2007 as the new Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer responsible for Sales, Marketing and Professional Services.

Before joining Aquin, Roman Harbich was Executive Director and General Manager Europe at SmartStream Technologies. In this role he managed one of the biggest R&D centres and multiple international subsidiaries at the same time. Before working at SmartStream Technologies, Mr Harbich served as Sales Director and Business Unit Director at NCR and AT&T Global Information Solutions. Roman Harbich will push Aquin's continuous international expansion by leveraging his experience in strategic and operational business.
